Create a digital license (HWID) without KMS or previous installation / upgrade
In Windows 10, all systems, no matter how they were activated (by upgrading from Windows 7 or a purchased retailer or the built-in BIOS, known as MSDM licenses) will be converted to a digital license based on hardware ID (HWID )) for the respective machine. This license is stored on MS servers and activates this computer with each reinstallation. Only hardware changes will revoke the license. If you link it to a Microsoft account (MSA), you can transfer it later.
The procedure should only be performed once per machine. For later installations, simply skip all the key instructions (select “I don’t have a product key” during installation) and the MS Server web connector will initially recognize the HWID again and approve activation automatically.
NOTE: If you have installed the Volume License version from VLSC or MVS Business ISO, you must enter the default Trade / OEM Key to reactivate.
It’s actually quite simple and doesn’t touch any leaked system files or keys (* stolen bug).
Ticket creation has been fine-tuned for each MS SKU edition, so the manual method below applies to all of them. For the simplest activation, there is also an automated method that works with all MS SKU editions and is specially designed for the following:
Supported Windows 10 editions (SKU):
Core (home) (N)
